THE WOODPECKER

Last week I found a baby wood pecker. I had never caught a wood pecker before so it was exciting. It can climb trees and bite ears very well. I was riding my sisters bike and I saw it across the street with mama wood pecker. I saw it couldn't fly so I caught it and today I caught it again! We let it go and it climbed all the way up the tree.

Other than that I've been doing nothing because I've been sick. Next post will be my latest drawing.

SOMETHING NEW

The other day we all went to Scheals in Omaha and we bought a badmitten set to play with and after that we went to Wal-Mart in Fremont and bought another tennis racket so we could play four person tennis. We also went swimming and I got a most amazing sunburn. That was day before yesterday and now I'm as sick as a dog.

TODAY

Earlier Abi and I were playing tennis in the front yard because mom and dad bought some new tennis rackets. Now they go to the park to play tennis for exercise. But we already had two rackets but one was a piece of junk and the other one was old. I also did a little yard work today and I played a football game on the computer. I'm sorry today was so uneventful and I'll try to make tomorrow more interesting.

YARD WORK

A few weeks ago we bought a new lawn mower because the old one broke down. Now it is my job to mow the lawn. I also do other things outside that need done like trim trees, sweep the driveway, scoop dog droppings and so on and so forth. I mowed today. The yard always looks better when I'm done!

MY FIRST POST

So far this summer I have gone to Oklahoma and Kansas. In Oklahoma we brought almost every gun we have and we went hog hunting with our magnificent cousin Michael! Dad shot at one, I saw one, Michael (our magnificent cousin) shot two! Bryan and Sam didn't see a thing. The weather that day was wet and sloppy. It had been raining for weeks.

In Kansas we went to Worlds of Fun and it was a world of fun. We went on four roller coasters and two other rides. We were only there for half a day but it was fun. We met two of our uncles there and a cousin. Then we stayed the night at Uncle Dale and Aunt Mellissa's house. I'll try to post some pictures later. Above are some pictures from the web.
